Our brand new studio with professional grade sprung dance floors is located in downtown La Crosse, WI.
La Crosse offers residents an urban suburban feel and is right along the Mississippi River. There are many unique shops, restaurants, bars, lively entertainment, museums, art galleries and festivals to explore.
La Crosse is a warm and inviting town including 3 universities and is known for being a very active community that loves being outdoors!
Program Details
Schedule
This is a 9 month program running from September 2023 - May 2024. Daily classes will run from 9:30am-1:45pm on Mondays-Thursdays, including a 45 minute lunch break.
Sample Schedule:
9:30-11am - Dance Technique Class (Ballet, Modern, Jazz)
11-12pm - Rehearsal
12-12:45pm - Lunch
12:45-1:45pm - Business Class
Dancers will also have the opportunity to take additional classes at the studio in the evenings if they desire, which is included in the program cost. Take a look at our studio schedule here.
Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years or older or have recently graduated from high school. Participants may attend a local college or university of their choice as long as classes do not conflict with the program's schedule. Participants may acquire employment as long as scheduling does not conflict with the program's schedule.
Cost
The participant cost for the program is $415 per month or pay in full for $3,362 (10% savings). Upon getting accepted in our program we require a deposit of the first and last month of program costs to secure your spot. The monthly fee does not cover housing, food or transportation. We will have a suggested list of preferred housing and connect you with other dancers to live with, but you will be responsible for securing your housing.
Audition Process
#1 - Fill out our program application form so that we can get to know you better and see if you are a good fit for our program.
#2 - Send in a 1-2 minute video showcasing contemporary jazz or modern technique.
#3- We will be in touch and let you know if we would like to do an additional zoom audition class or whether you have been accepted into the program or not.
Application deadline for the 2023-24 season is June 1st, 2023.
