In our beginner Bachata class, you'll learn the basics of this fun and accessible Latin dance, which focuses on smooth footwork, fluid body movements, and hip actions. Bachata is known for its connection between partners, though you can also dance it solo. No partner is needed in order to attend this class! You'll start with the foundational steps, turns, and body movements that make up the heart of Bachata, gradually building your skills to incorporate more intricate footwork, spins, and partner work. Whether you’re dancing with a partner or on your own, Bachata is a playful and energetic style that will help you feel confident and have fun on the dance floor!
